Today I got to go detect a house I've been trying to get permission to hunt for a while. The house was probably built in the late 1800s. I found the usual trash and what not and only two wheat penny's and part to a horse bridal. I decided to swing around the old path leading from the house to the road. I got a sweet signal about 4 inches and I popped the plug and at first I thought I had a lead slug but I picked it up and could barely read one dime and I knew I had a barber. It's my first one. The date is 1907. I can't wait to return to this site and hopefully pull out some more silver from the earth. Thanks for looking. HH
