What's up everybody!
Took my new AT Pro to the beach with the family this weekend not expecting to find much and turned up a nice silver earring! It's marked A.G. Hecho en Mexico 925. Did some quick research online and found a set of the exact same earrings for sale on Etsy. Although the hallmarks are different they are the same. Made in Cuerravaca, Mexico between the 1920's and 50's. It's missing the screw post which was probably still on the lady's ear when she got back to the hotel....oops!
This was the first time I detected on the beach. I was able to get away for a couple hours each day Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Found the earring my first hunt on Thursday night, in the dark, using my phone and pin pointer for light. Was actually on my way back to the access when I walked over it. It only rang out at a 78-80 at 5" deep, but was solid so I dug it! Kinda funny because I was using my Lesche shovel because I didn't have a sand scoop the first couple hunts.
The other small jewelry piece in the photo looks like it might of been silver plated at one point. Only rang out at 50-52.
This makes two weekends in a row that I've found silver with the AT Pro!! Wish me luck on making it 3 in a row!! HH
