Looks like you had a great hunt... well done.

Great hunt! Especially for just your one hour window...the square US item appears to possibly be part of a lock..? Congrats on a successful hunt! Ddf

the US item is a part of small military tape measure. got one in Kingston, NY few years back---ID provided by a vet. solid brass. looks like a fairly ballsy hunt, time well spent :icon_thumright:. still lookin' for a silver watch case :BangHead:

Quality finds man! The round US item looks to be a post 1859 bit boss. It looks to have a stippled background behind the US which fits the civil war time frame. The later ones were plain. That thing is really nice!

Nice finds. That square US is a padlock face - I have whole one somewhere in my collection. If you look at the 2nd to last pic, your finger is over the lock hole and your thumb is over one of the loop holes. Those date to the first quarter of the 20th century.

Get an exact weight on that cannonball. That'll help ID it. The other US is a bit boss.

Congrats
