My first coin find with the new Ace 250 was in my own backyard. It was a 1940 Wheatie. If I can find it as a newbie then anyone starting this hobby should not get discouraged. I do want to thank everyone that are contributors to this forum. I believe I have read every thread. Believe me it helps. PD

Oh yeah, those wheaties are great indicators of silver in the area. My only thing with wheaties, I ALWAYS find 1944 Wheats!!! It's like ground hog day when it happens, lol. Once I found 3- '44s in one hole.....in my backyard. The rover Curiosity trained its camera back towards earth when I let that blood-curdling scream escape my expletive propelling lips.....Keep it up though, that same day I detected the gravel drive and found a 1930's Triple A Badge in chrome for the Alamo Area Triple A!!! You never know what you'll find. Will

I still get a huge grin when I roll out a wheatie!!!

Now your hooked for sure! I hope you find many more
