First coinstar score

Ok. I have been reading about coinstar finds for about a year. So , out of curiosity, I started checking one at my local stre for the last month. . Even my wife started and nothing. This morning after church I checked and there must have been 20 coins - quarters, nickels and pennies. The lobby was super crowded and I kind of felt like a thief - so I took the two silver dimes and the foreign coin which turned out to be a 1951 20 franc coin.

Sweet finds!

Today, I only found two zinc cents in the tray.

I made a score at one last week.
Silver dime, foreign coins, tokens and some clad.

Timing is everything with the coinstars.

Never ever feel guilty about cleaning out the reject tray.
The people that used the machine, didn't want the rejects.
Those coinstar machines have internal reject buckets for what doesn't get spit out in the external tray.

One ate a large dollar coin and didn't give any credit on the print out receipt.
