Metal Detecting
As we all know- life gets in the way of detecting! I have not been out much at all but obtained a new permission today and had a half hour to scout after work. Well scout- turned to detect- and I’m glad I did because my second signal was this 1831 Coronet Head Large Cent with “medium letters” A first of this variety for me!!! I was in and out of the field within 30 minutes! Hopefully she is a sign of good things to come! Thanks for letting me share! Congrats on the largie!!!! :icon_thumright:

You see, I hate to hear about great finds like this near me ( aka within 1000 miles of Delaware) because you are thinning out my potential finds. However, "Good on You, Mate", as the Aussies would say. Just maybe back off to say, Ohio, or so. Save me a state or two to pick through, hey? Cheers!
