First cowbell, bike bell, shed, coins & relics

Got out for a few more hours to the cellar hole sites deep in the park woods. First intact brass cow bell style bell I have ever dug. The key hole integrated into the ornate pull is unique.

The silver quarter was only 3 inches down, but was just a whisper of a 92/92 signal on the 700. I found a Merc here last weekend and it was also shallow, but barely a signal. Makes me wonder how much stuff is masked by the iron here. Thx

That is some nice stuff. I have never found a cowbell like that either. I agree, that keyhole pull is interesting. Congrats.

You found two bells. The cow bell and a US flag bicycle bell.

Hopefully that quarter has a D on the back!

I'd be going back and digging super crappy signals there as well. Grats and thanks for sharing.

Nathan. The round aluminum item with the badge shape in the middle is a customizable good luck token from back in the day;

Congrats on the great finds !

I've found and cleaned up around half a dozen of those old metal stamped Good Luck Souvenirs.
One of them says something like - "Dave & Gloria - 1947" on it.
They were real popular at Fairs and Carnivals back in the 1940's - 1960's era.
Here's a few photo's of the machines that made them.

Thanks for posting E trac. I looked real quick but didn't find what you posted. I have dug at least half dozen as well and one is folded up with pliers or a vice and I'm assuming the relationship went south and was destroyed and chucked.

Again, the flag item is a bicycle handlebar bell.
