First CRH for '09, SOLID SILVER ROLL!!!
My first CRH trip for 2009, and bling!
My truck broke down and my son had to run errands, so I rode with him and we went a little (OK, a lot) out of the way, and stopped at 12 banks quite a few miles away from where I normally CRH. At least 100 miles out.
Half of the banks had no halves, but two had at least 30 loose rolls. Going thru the first of them, there was a '64 in the first roll, a good sign! But it was the only 90% coin find of the day. We were picking some 40%ers here and there out of the other ones, and finally got down to the last 4 rolls.
I opened the end, and silver was showing. Then I slid them out for a quick edge scan, and *BLING* SOLID silver roll! This is only the third solid silver roll I have ever found, but what a way to ring in the new year!
Total found, 1 - '90% and 37 - 40%.
Good way to start the CRH year!
*EDIT* I was just looking at the bottom pic, and I noticed that the top part of it (I put the solid silver roll on the top of the scanner, the bottom part are the loose 40% and the 1 - '64) had more than 20 coins. There are 22!
So total coins is up to 41!
