So I finally got to the Berryville farm today. We spent 5 hours detecting. Found two bullets in the first ten minutes and thought it was on... not really.. Did find a 54 caliber three ringer. Can’t recall ever finding one. Anyway, I parked in the field. The cows must have wanted the salt on the side of my Jeep, so when I came back I found cow slobber all over my jeep! Lol!
-lots more property to hunt!!! Got to stay optimistic! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1513549975.649253.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1513550005.530635.webp

Well you had the makings for a good one, weird how that happens at some sites, step out and its looking like game on and it fizzles. Best of luck on the return hunt, lots of acreage.

Not too shabby there’s plenty of civil war history to find in Berryville...I’ve got and old friend who has a farm there just haven’t found the time to take up his offer to hunt yet....happy hunting!

Nice finds! When I first saw the second picture I thought it was a snake or lizard on your windshield!! Lol

Long Island, I’ll check out his farm if you get me permission!!!

That was just a warm up. With the ground you got, you’ll be hauling it in soon. Good luck to you!

Nice relic hunt, sure bet there is much more goodies awaiting your coil! :occasion14:

Nearly every relic you dug today says GET BACK OUT HERE! That's certainly not a sight to get short winded on. Some times you have to work for the treasure. You got some fine relics for your efforts today. Who's to say the old coins, buttons, etc, won't be popping up on your returns? Keep after it mate!:headbang:

Oh, I’m not short sighted. I have 80 acres I haven’t seen! Can’t wait!
