I haven't been detecting for a while, and have only been watching the egg counter on TNET. My father, and hunting buddy had a stroke, so my MXT has been in the closet for two years. We now live in a huge house with a big front and back yard, built in 1946. We have lived here for a year. Today I finally pulled the MXT out of the closet and spent 30 minutes in the front yard. My digging skills are rusty, so I am amazed I didn't scratch my finds. Nothing much, but enough to give me encouragement to keep at it. Other than the rotting zinc pennies, I found a Mercury dime, 1943 S in nice shape, a 1952 D rosie, very nice, and a heart shaped gold necklace with chain. I can't believe I didn't chop the chain in half. I don't know if it is gold yet or not. Anyway, I am back in the game, and hope to keep it up. God bless you all,
