First dollar find.

Went hunting with Joe and Jim today and got my first Dollar find. Made my day. I know it is not silver but it made my collection a little more complete.

Found my first Sac last year. My best find came from right near there too.....a US cartridge plate! How strange. Congrats on a cool coin....even with the hole.

Congrats on the find. For some reason my luck is good on finding these -2 SBA's, 4 Saq's and 2 new President dollars - All located on soccer fields or schools. All register a VDI on my MXT of about +83 to +86.

Dollar coins are always fun to find. I once found one and didn't know it until I got home. I thought it was a quarter at the time.

Take it to the bank trade it for a Nice Shinny one with no hole. Put it in a 2x2" cardboard holder. Give it to the great grand kids when your 99 years old.

Wow even modern coins get holed and nobody knows why.....except the person who did it. Probably for a necklace where as in the past it was so they didn't lose their coins or what ever.....

Still a cool find. I've only found one of the presidential dollar coins.
