These past few months have been exciting for me in Relic Hunting. The attached picture is my first Eagle Breast Plate dug at a site from the first days fighting at the Battle of Nashville TN. Lately I have had several great first finds.
I dug the attached grouping of relics from an unhunted yard on the Nashville Battlefield with permission from the land owner. The Eagle Breast Plate was at about five inches deep. All of the targets including the buttons were very shallow. The bullets are 69 caliber. The Confederate Army, and the Union Army camped in the area I was relic hunting. I was using the Fisher F75 LTD.
