was so bored that i went outside in my yard ,kicked the snow away and tested my 250 out. First ever finds 2 clad quarters a nickel and a penny. yiippee

That Ace 250 will get them deep too. My deepest coin find was an 1883 Indian head cent at 8" deep. When you get a little more used to it try to hunt in jewelry mode with max sensitivity where you can. You might not be able to at first. It just about drove me crazy in my yard at first. All metal mode was impossible to search with. My house was built in 1922 and the yard is full of nails and large metal objects 8" plus deep, some over a foot. I started out in coin mode and sensitivity about a little over half way up just to get used to it but you may be braver than I was, lol!!!....Good hunting to you and as soon as the snow melts go get the biggun!
