First flat buttons need some help

We went to a plantation in Georgetown SC and found two buttons. Both appear to be pewter or silver. The small button is 1/2" no shank and flat smooth. The large button 7/8" no shank and flat smooth with a back mark "PLATED" can someone date these buttons or give me any information on them? Any help would be appreciated. My camera does not do close up well at all. Sorry
