I think most of the buttons with backmarks like that were made around the 1830s but I'm sure someone that knows buttons better then me will chime in soon.

thanks guys ill have pics soon still cleaning it ive been busy with work but this is my first flat button ive found im going back to the site soon need some bug spray lol got eaten alive redneckchick got an axe head her first also
