Deus XP 3.2
The pictures show my efforts from January to April 1st, 2014. These pictures only show some of the finds. Since retiring I have had some more time to MD this year. Even offered a recovery service in the local paper, and got called out to recover some keys. All finds are from Germany and some from France. I MD often on US bases here that is why there is so much US clad. I think I found my first confirmed Roman bronze coin. All finds are with my 8 year old White's XLT, mostly with the 5.3 coil. This metal detector has paid for itself many time over. Enjoy

This is very cool... I kick myself when I think of what I could have found while I was stationed at Erlangen Germany in 75-78. Those older 90% silver German marks from the 1930's or before are really nice coins.
Hopefully you'll find some of these too.

Nice finds your xlt picked them up at 3 to 4 feet.

The items were at 3-4 feet deep. I was brought on target by the vast amount of metal mixed into the hole, which started at the 1 foot mark. The XLT has found paint cans/shovel heads at the 3 foot range.

Cool Hand,
The nearest base to there (Warner Barracks/Bamberg) will close this year. I made some great finds there.

I was stationed at Warner Barracks in 90-93. When I arrived there in July90 I was with 3-35 AR, they deactivated and I stayed there with 281 BSB. That's where I got bit by the MD bug. My buddy that got me into it was at Bamberg for years and told me about when they found an intact PnzrMkIV buried at the engineers track park. I found some pretty neat stuff. A really neat place to go look if you get another chance would be MUNA. During WWII there was very little fighting around Bamberg the rail yard was visited by the English. I had a friend that lived in an apt by the bahnhof that in the attic there was still shrapnel in the roof beams. My Plt Sgt was stationed there from 73-93 and retired there. He still works for DOD there.

Nice finds ..I'd love to search in Europe too..interesting German badges & rings Is that a bakelite Razor ? Thanks for showing pics..

That skull badge is amazing! Must have been so awesome to pull that outta the ground! CoNgRaTs!!!
