Hey guys,

Out with gheenoe78 today working a section of coast line near an old battery. After crossing waist deep water we hit our target site and starting hitting the area. Two hours of low tide came and went and we had little to show for our efforts. Just before giving up we decided to try the shallow section of water that we used as a crossing point... clearly we had not been the first to use it. First find was a gold 10K ring with the initials T L on the inside. I was hoping it was a civil war signet ring, however it looks more art deco to me...probably 40s or 50s. No more than 5 feet from the ring I got a few hits in the lead range and dug 2 round balls. The last signal I received proved to be the best- war of 1812 Infantry script pewter button! Did find an additional piece of pewter in the last pic- maybe part of a buckle?
