First Gold!

I went to a local ball field that I've pounded hard for about a year and pulled my first gold ring. The ring was dated on the inside 1867.

Very nice, congratulations, the double headed eagle is one of the symbols used by the Freemasons, so whoever lost it is most likely connected or has ancestors that were Freemasons.

the date inside could be a founding date for a particular lodge. 1867 was a big year for Kansas Masons, several lodges were chartered in Kansas in 1867, including a "colored" lodge...
