After a year of clad, a couple of nice rings and tons of shreded soda cans, I finally found something worth posting. I think it is a Rosetta of the type you'd see on a courier pouch, blinder or some saddle flap or cover. It was about 7 inches down and bouncing between dime and quarter on my Ace 250. I'd like to think Civil War era but.....?
I'd appreciate any input as to it actually being what I think it is.
Good luck hunting....

Congrats on your first great find.

Huh, heres the one I found. They've got to be related, just time difference. Have no clue what they were from! Anybody know? Mines the same size too.

Almost the same aren't they. Only difference is the US style.
I'm wondering where the time break was when the changed styles,
like which was earlier. There's probably a book or expert somewhere.
Don't you love this hobby?
Good luck

VERY addictive hobby!!!! :help: ;D I like to fish and MD is similar in that you never know what you might score! :headbang: Thank you Kuger, I had thrown mine in my watsits container about a year ago and kind of wondered what it was! That was right before I discovered T-net. :icon_sunny:
