I didn't stay out long because Michigan is awful and everything is still frozen solid, but I did manage to find a zinc penny and a 1920s button from a house I'd picked clean with my Spectrum XLT. This year I got myself an AT Pro because I had to give the XLT back to the person I borrowed it from. I'm thrilled to finally have one of the two detectors that I've wanted for a while now!

I found out that this company went out of business in 1932 (I believe) so that's how I dated it. Much older than I had hoped! Here's a video of my live hunt. The link to the new channel I'm making for metal detecting is in the video description if anyone is interested.

Anyway that's for looking. It felt great to get back out there for the first time in almost 5 months. I can't wait to go back out but I have to wait a couple more days for this freakin snow to melt and the ground to thaw a bit.
