Weather was beautiful here in NEPA today so I decided to put the new replacement coil on the atpro and head out for the first time this year. Funny part is I didn't even realize that today is the same exact day I got started last year lol. Of course even though it was 60 degrees today the ground was frozen 2 inches down so I was very selective in the targets I dug. The new coil performed perfectly, not all choppy like my old one. I hunted a local soccer field for a little over an hr and I ended up with what you see here: 2 pennies, 6 nickels, 3 dimes and 9 quarters, Id call that a pretty decent start to 2014!, Today was more about taking care of my cabin fever and hearing those lovely sounds in my headphones lol, thanks for looking and HH!!

Congrats! I know exactly what you mean about target selection! Hard to chisel the frozen tundra!
Hurry up spring thaw!

yes I can't wait till it gets a bit warmer out so i can get out there and hear those lovely sounds as well. I'd agree not a bad start :)

Still alot of snow on the ground here in Schuylkill county Pa. and what ground is bare is frozen for the most part. Nice job.

Beautiful day here in Chilli town Ohio as well. Had about an hour to hunt after work. Sure is nice to get out and dig! Congratulations on your fine start to 2014! Hope you have many more enjoyable days hunting the rest of the year!
