First hunt of the year . Nothing special , but I did get a charm bracelet with silver charms , an old ring and some type of a compact with fancy on the front . But my favorite find of the day was a bell spill . 7 small bells like you would find on a Christmas decoration or something similar . Not a spectacular start to the year but at least I got out .

Oh I don't know, silver? On the first outing? I call that pretty special!

Congrats!

Definetly not what I was expecting to find . A realitively modern charm bracelet at a old fallen down house from the 1900s . I believe from what I researched it was moved there by oxen teams in 1903 and was occupied from then until 1975 or so . It has since fallen down and is very overgrown

Silver on your first hunt and no big deal? Way better than my first hunt out yesterday. 5 pennies and 6 pull tabs! And the bells are awesome!

Didnt mean to make it sound like I didnt appreciate the silver . But I definitely expected a different kind of targets other then a modern charm braclet .

Hey Wheat. Glad to see you're out and about! Nice finds and here's to 2016! Cheers!

Good digs man.

Welcome back. That's a sweet charm bracelet. :occasion14: Looks like the site has potential.

Congrats on the silver,
1903 - 1975 is a lot of time to lose stuff.
I would go back.

Good finds! I have found large brass bells on old farms that were used on the strap of horse sleigh bell strap. Not seen the smaller ones like that.

I have never seen bells that small on a harness either . Which makes me wonder if it part of an old Christmas decoration ...... thinking old because the seem brass not aluminium

Great finds & congrats! Thanks for sharing & wish you many more while dirt fishing.
