First Hunt of 2016 Unearths GOLD

Got out for my first hunt of the year earlier today.

Headed to a nearby park that has a football/soccer field and hunted along the bench sidelines. I normally don't hunt for jewelry in parks because I don't like digging pop tabs but today I decided to dig every solid target. I'm sure glad I took the time dig everything.

Found this nice little 14k 9g band.

I sure hope that this is a sign of a great season and not just my using all of my luck up in the first hunt.
