First hunt of Feb. first silver of the year.

Got my first standing liberty just under a year into this hobby I also found 2 mercs a 1944 war nickel I think. If any one knows what the cylinder thing is please let me know. Also found the glass bottle and it still has the nipple sealed inside so the first hunt of Feb. wasn't to bad.

Congrats on your silver and other nice finds! The item maybe the top of a lipstick case I'm guessing.

It is a lipstick case just got it apart. The baby bottle is 1939 after looking up the Paton #. It is cool to have the hole thing intact. Thanks for the input. H.H.

I think the lip stick tube is from the late 30's early 40's from what I have found on the net.

Great finds, look at the reverse side of your nickle, if the mint mark is over the Monticello then it is a war nickle. Here is a link to the 44 war nickle.
