I finally got out for the first time this year after being inspired by some of the Illinois videos I've seen. No luck today but it was good to get out.
I did find an older rifle/gun hammer and some melted lead, clad and a big copper conducter for the old electric train that used to run up this way up until the 50's. I was really hoping this train depot site would produce but there was a ton of fill dirt brought in sometime ago. Also went to an older home site and what can you say about a site that produces both square nails and memorials at 9 inches deep :BangHead:. Oh well, patience is the name of the game I guess. Thanks for reading.

Ying and Yang.....some days you win ,some days you get the skunk
Many a day I return with little to show, but some days, well they just shoot you to the moon...
All part of the thrill of this addiction we call a hobby,And having fun through it all, priceless

Glad you had fun out there
