First hunt of the year

Got out on Saturday for the first hunt of the year, found the field I hit spanish silver in last fall was diggable and gave it a go. Decided to grid off a small area for a couple hours and got a 1815 John Alexr Barry Halifax token, musket balls, few buttons including the pewter nipple button, as well as a broken trade axe and a few other bits and bobs not pictured.
Was nice to finally get out after a long winter, and in tshirt weather at that!

Best find was "thawed ground" Keep it up.

Sure looks like we're going to bypass spring pretty quickly. At least I have a few beach and wooded sites to go once the crops are in and the the grass is too high!
