First Indian Head (Buffalo) Nickle! 13-15 Apr 2013 Chicks Beach and Ocean View

After being gone for a month and not doing any hunting, I was very happy to get back out there and swing the excal on the beach! Started on the 13th with a quick hunt on chicks beach and came up with this:


Bracelet was nice but not worth anything.

The 14th started at the Ocean Front where I saw Max, only two lousy pennies so I headed to the rocks and pulled a bunch of grey matter and pull tabs:

And finally, today (15th) I hit another spot in Ocean View (as Max calls it, "The Cave of Edmond Dante") where I was getting a bit disappointed, Tide was still up a bit but the waves were churning so getting in the water was difficult. Stayed in the damp and wasn't doing so well......left after about 2 1/2 hours but when I got home to clean all my gear and finds, I realized I had pulled a Buffalo nickle on one of my last targets! First ever for me. Cleaned up pretty well as you can see by what it looked like before!

Thanks for looking! We will see where Max wants to go tomorrow.......if the tide won't cooperate, maybe a park hunt would be good!

Too COLD out for the chicks! LOL Actually, just look at any of Max's videos from the summer, plenty of "chicks" there!

"Chicks Beach" is an area of "Chesapeake Beach" north of Cape Henry up the Chesapeake Bay coastline to Little Creek NAB.
