First Land Find from 1800's Mill

Got permission recently to hunt a 1800's mill but due to our overabundance of rain causing the overgrowth to go crazy and the ticks coming out in masses I have started hunting the creek. But this is my first land find from about 15 feet from mill.
But as if the ticks aren't bad enough this guy was just curious today

That has patina of old lead. What is it made of? That looks like a very early one. I bet you find something there to rival that big silver. I would be very excited with every tone at your site. Looking forward to more posts from there.

Thanks OD you do realize that it hardly compares to 925 CZ and wheat pennies but I had never found one and it excited me. Just getting started on this site so maybe it will give up more treasures. I think maybe the good land stuff is under tons of sand from the the creek flooding over the years. I invited a charter member of the Charlotte Silver Mafia to help me check but ....looking around ...nope he's not here...hmmm

Well I did invite someone as snake bait but the glow of CZ has blinded him and so far a no show.

I have you know this is Fourth grade. I was promoted when I turned 16 two years ago
