First large cent, sort of!!!

These are my last 2 days of detecting!

9 silver plate flatware
3 stainless flatware
approx. 8 lbs of copper and brass
4 marbles
1 large cent (lucky penny)
1 I am catholic medallion (dated 1830)

This is my large cent. LOL It is a Lead lucky penny from 1906.

This was my surprise for the day. A sterling creed medallion. I thought is was alum and dropped it in my stuff bag. It is dated 1830 and I don't know if that is the age or a certain date that is stamped on them.

I did find out more about the medallion! This is from buckleboy on another thread!



It's a Medal of the Immaculate Conception. The date of 1830 is not a literal date, but refers to a vision of the Virgin that occured in 1830 in Paris.


It is also called the Miraculous Medal.
