Went to a site today that is owned by the church . We got the ok to hunt . It is a 1970ish house but with a
row of tree stumps up the driveway the land looked older . Well less than 3 minutes into the hunt i got my
first good signal was a Large Cent also my oldest US COIN + a Rosie. My detecting bud got a Busted half cent no date his first.
The most fun eleven cents can buy HH Mike

I like those large cents.

I would say those stumps are dated back, lets see, oh, uh....1830 or so but that would be just a guess! :tongue3: Nice Largie and Rosie....jgas

sweeet nice finds congrats

Very nice find, and in great shape! FYI, there are 11 known varieties of the 1830 LC, ranging from common to rare. You may want to have that checked!

Welcome to the LC Club!!
