I must have a good teacher!!! I thot Ravens for #2 and Alley for the rest!! (wonder if I can do THAT again - LOL!) That said, I wouldn't have thot Heaton - likely b/c I have thus far one Dixie cup of them. I'll have to dig that out from under the piles of others and take a look see....

Good, you're getting it!
I think heatons got around a bit and a lot of them just get set in the unidentified box and others get piled in with the alleys and run of the mill west virginia swirls. I'm not very well versed on them but once in a while one pops up that's easy to ID as heaton. Others look so much like everything else. Here's a nice one I have and it's one that's a bit easier to ID.

What makes that particular one more ID'able to you?? BTW: I think someone could easily let the background overshadow the actual marble; you, however, seem to have a natural good eye where the background compliments the mib rather than takes over the visual image. Verrrry nice.

Thanks!

This one is easier because of the mish-mash syrup flow pattern, the clear glass in the mix along with the red making it look at first glance like it's a red ribbon on white but then you notice it's more of a white glass mixed with transparent red and clear. No discernable cut lines. Hard to describe just what it is sometimes.
