Did some exploring around an old inn today.

Don't find many of these, so always a thrill when I do. :hello2: Nice detail. I'll throw her in olive oil and see if I can pretty her up.

Today's finds...
1846 Large Cent
(2) Wheatbacks 1929-D, 1950
Bullet
Heel plate
Harmonica reed

Also found a brass tag that looks like a baggage tag or room tag. Has a number on it, but it is so crusted that it is hard to tell what other detail may be on it. Will throw it in the olive oil with the LC. Possibly a room tag from the inn.

Congratulations on the old copper find! I love finding old copper coins too.

Great detail on the lc!

Very nice finds there. Congrats.

Nice copper, I don't think i would do anything else to it. I like it the way it is. They do make the heart race when you dig one up.

Ditto. I wouldn't touch it. Olive oil prob not gonna make it look better than it is now

Very nice sir! How far did you have to travel for that one? That's still a bucket list find for me!

Gotta love the large copper coins. Great to see them come out of the ground. Looks like the tall date variety although I'm not positive. Nice finds!.

Nice save! Can't get enough of seeing these. Still searching for my First LC. Congrats!
