First Merc!

I feel like I lost my virginity. I was detecting a park, full of people...and they were looking at me?!?!

I found my first Merc in less than 3 minutes. It was so shallow, a squirrel could have buried it. I was cackling like those weirdo guys on 'Diggers'. I think somebody called 911.

Don't worry, I'm safe. And I have my first 1943 Merc!!!

Congrats on your first merc. Was it resting on a tree root? I have found a few that were shallow because a tree root pushed them to the surface.
