First old coin plus an indians head.

It was a bright sunny day today. Spent a couple hours checking out a new playfield. There wasn't much good stuff on the surface, so I decided to dig some deep signals along the fence. Found this V nickel on the first hole and the the Indian Head pin close to it. I didn't stay much longer but I think this old park may have some potential. This is my first antique coin, It aint the greatest but she's my first. I'm still looking for my first silver coin.

I don't know. It's heavy and it has some copper color to it. it seems to be hollow on the inside with a porous fill.

Yes it is Shutterbug. I don't think anyone arrived in this town till 1852. I'll have to show you the spot whenever we can get together for a hunt.

That indian Head, what ever it is, is really cool. I like finding stuff like that better then I do coins...
As stated in some of the earlier replies, I'm sure you'll pulling some nice finds out of that spot...

That indian head pin reminds me of the hood ornament off an early model Pontiac car. Good fiind.
