Once again my front yard was profitable. It has given up a Fugio, two colonial buttons, a musketball and now my first standing liberty. I could get no date on the coin and it was found stuck together with the 1943 quarter. There's no identifiable date but that's OK. I love the sound machine makes when I get a good solid target much less two great targets. I guess I'm getting closer to my Morgan dollar. ;) IMG_2937.webp

..: NICE "Old Silver" Hammer :..
Thanks for sharing!

OH YEA! Right outside your door you find two stacked silver quarters. I'll bet that was a sweet sound. The sound a morgan makes is almost too good to be true. Even if it's been in a lake for 100 years.
Grats to ya and, man, I'd be out in my yard if I were you. With that kind of assortment, dig ALL the mid tones!

wish I had a front yard like that! congrats

Where is your house and when do you leave for work?

Nice Silver !! Congrats !!

I would dig every signal. Congrats.

Nice job on the Standing Liberty Quarter. They are a great coin to see come out of the ground even if they dont have a date.

Nice going on the two silver quarters. A Standing Liberty quarter is a rare find. Big Congrats!

I would take a no date SLQ over a nice silver Washington any day. Love that design!

Very nice to get an SLQ ! They really are a tough find - only minted from 1916 - 1930 . I was lucky to dig one up near Ouray ,Colorado last Sept. It was a no date type two as well.
