I’ve been metal detecting for about a year now and my mine lab Go Find 40 has let me to so many treasures. Love that squeaky lil beast. Over $1k in change, hot wheels, and lots of silver and gold. Found my first gold ring yesterday and a chunky gold bracelet last Saturday. More to come!

$1,000 in change in a year? Holy crap! I don’t really hunt for modern change but usually find $150-$200 per year and it feels like a lot. Nicely done!

I scour the San Francisco Bay Area/East Bay parks far and wide. At least 3-5 parks a day. I found my first Silver Washington Quarter today.. 1963... WooHoo!
