First Ring

Haven't posted anything in awhile so I figured what best to post than my first ring find. Have found plenty of modern clad over the past few months. Went out today for a short hunt expecting to find more coins and found the ring on my second signal. Will post more pics later after I clean it up and see if I can find any markings.

Only markings on the inside is an 8.

Congrad on the first ring! A rings a ring. The 8 is most likely the size. Does a magnet stick to it. You can always take it to a pawn shop or jewler and they check it out for ya to see if its silver or gold free. Good luck!HH

Looks like maybe an old mood ring? I found one identical last year, but never had it checked out...

I agree with Digs68. A mood ring. My wife sells the same ring now. So I doubt it's very old. But a good first ring find. I think I've found two this Year. Now get out there and find a nice Silver ring and watch your eyes pop when you dig it. LOL
