First run for the new year

4-quarters, 8-dimes, 1-nickle, 12-pennies.
This stuff is all costume pieces. 1-earring set, 1-broach and a commemorative sports pin (CUP 2004)

My wife keeps asking. Now where the heck is that diamond ring? lol

Keep in mind, some of that old costume jewelry is becoming very popular and quite expensive! Tell your wife to be patient, it will come.

Its easy to get discouraged when starting out with this hobby. That's actually a great start. It took me forever before I could get my first quarter. Nothing but pulltabs and an occasional penny for weeks. I wondered if the whole hobby was a waste of time. When you get that first silver........well, there's nothing like it. I was hooked for life.
