Took advantage of the nice weather and found a bucket lister, 1856 seated dime "o". Frost was 2-4 inches but the new 36" Lesche made the recovery a bit easier.

Outstanding!.....
That's early in IN history.... sweet!

Very nice. What was the vdi on that? Just curious.

Great star for a new year of hunting. That digger makes a big difference I use one here in Mi works good in the frozen ground I still stick to the woods or higher grass areas easier digging Thanks for sharing those!!!!!

Congratualtions on the seated dime recovery! :occasion14:

Congrats, never dug anything seated, still waiting

Great find. I find Seated anything hard to come by...nicely done!

Congrats on your first seated- hope there's many more in your future!

Congrats. It's nice when you see a new design on a silver coin.

Congrats on making the seated club, Awesome!! A nice early one too, Sweet!!

Congratulations on your first Seated Coin.
Put that bad boy in a coin folder, and mark it with the date and location of find. Very special coin.

Nice find. Still looking for my first

Same it's going to be warm for the next five days here. Should be perfect conditions to get into a few places off the beaten path by my next day off this weekend. Could turn one up I thought getting out last year in the end of February was early. I don't think I've ever got to detect in January in Michigan

Thanks everyone! This is the type of find that keeps you engaged. In fact, I'm so hooked on this hobby I just ordered a racer2... Hopefully my recovery will improve.
