FIRST SILVER COIN FOUND!

SUNDAY WAS A RED LETTER DAY FOR ME. NOT ONLY DID FIND 29 COINS IN ONE SEARCH [A NEW PERSONAL BEST] I FOUND MY FIRST EVER SILVER COIN. A 1967 40% SILVER KENNEDY HALF DOLLAR. I WAS STOKED WHEN I SAW THE REVERSE OF THE HALF STARING AT FROM THE HOLE AND I STARTED SAYING "WOW, I HOPE IT'S SILVER". I FLIPPED IT OUT THE HOLE AND YES IT WAS SILVER. 1967 ABOUT FINE WITH THE EXPECTED CRUD ON IT. IT'S SOAKING IN DISTILLED WATER TO HELP LOOSEN THE DIRT. MAN WHAT A FEELING - FIRST SILVER!

Hi,

Its funny now you have your first 40% silver find now you need a 90%. Then a silver quarter then a dime. After that you will want a IH penny or V nickles. Then you will find yourself wanting to find belt buckles and you will long for your first strange bell find of some kind... Ha! The life of a treasurehunter.
