Hey folks,

I’ve been on the quest to find a Seated Dime lately. I drove to a far away town today and landed permission to an 1886 house on a massive lot. I spent 4 hours there today and only covered 20% of the land.

I feel pretty confident it hasn’t been hit before which is so nice. Most of the permissions I land seem like they’ve been worked before.

My first silver coin of the day (and year) was a 1900 Barber Dime. I also found a 1934-D merc, 1901 Indian, 5 Wheats (including a 1913-S) and a Spanish 1 Peseta from 1944.

This yard is loaded with targets so I managed some other fun odds and ends as well. I’m aiming to get back there Friday, hopefully more to report then!

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Good permissions are hard to come by now days. Congrats! I just walked a new farm permission with Smokey just to realize its been hit hard. Absolutely nothing on a prime location LOL

Good hunt! Nice saves today! That seated is out there! Waiting for you! -The more we all dig, the more we know it to be true! Enjoy the road getting there!

Hey there Washingtonian, it looks like you might just find that seated coin sooner rather than later. That permission is being kind to you, best of success with it in the days to come................63bkpkr

Thanks T, I hope so! They are hard to find in this neck of the woods. Not too many folks here back in the 1800s but I’m determined to get one!

Hey like I said in my 6 years of detecting 5 days a week I’ve only found 1 Seated Dime and I found it last year. Trust me I know the feeling.

Nice finds! whats wrong with a standing dime?:laughing7:

Nice Barber and Merc! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Your airplane is a Douglas C-47 Skytrain. WW2 era. Gary

Wash, great start my friend, hopefully there will be a lot more silver there... I have been walking fields near an 1850 house that has been detected many, many times, but, there's always "1 More"... Good Luck Basss

Nice job Washingtonian. Those are some nice coins, and I like that toy plane.

Congrats and best of luck when you get back there. See if you can determine where the clothes line was. I always find some coins there!
