First Silver Coin

Well I hit the BBQ area outside my work place on an AIr Force base. I can tell its VIRGIN territory, these are my finds after 2 hours! Tempted to go back there on my days off and hit it like it owes me money! Oh and I'm having trouble identifying that metallic stick. I believe it's a antenna to something military ish. Says RTE on it 8.3/14 4K/4 QTR 03

Did you yell "Boom Baby"? Just wait until a silver dime response is more like " Oh kewl, a silver " Next you need to find a silver Washington quarter. In VA you have a lot of much older coins as possibilities. I hope to see some really good silver picts from you son.

Congrats on the silver, I have never seen a antenna like that, but its the govt so who knows.
They get some odd looking equipment at times.
