First silver dime!

Got my second box of dimes today. First box was a skunk along with the 20 extra rolls I got with it. Found my first silver of all time today!!

1962 and earlier are made of silver. I found a few silver medio balboa from Panama before but not a silver 1/10th balboa.

I am finding those quite frequently- probably about 1 in every 2 boxes or so
I believe the silver are mid '60s as well

I just dumped the box at my bank and all the tellers were telling me stories of their own finds...guess that branch will remain the dump site . But they did offer to order me halves or Ike's without even having to ask...I bit on both offers so hopefully will make another post this time next week!

Congratulations! I found my first silver dime a few days ago as well after going through 675$, it's a little reassuring after all of that haha. Good luck with the rest of your searching!

Panamanian silver would have a white edge like ours. They made silver the same years we did (since we made it for them).
