A SLQ! What a great way to find your first silver...and welcome to TNet! :hello:

Looks like a 1916 or is it a 17. Great cowboy quarter. :)

Nice find edwv.

Marvelous silver start with your beautiful old quarter! :notworthy: :occasion18: :icon_thumright: Wherever you dug that, there may be more exciting discoveries to be dug. HAVE FUN! Andi

WOO HOO :wav: Way to go!!!! I think there is a way to possibly date the 16s or 17s by the way the hair turns up or down...being type 1 or type 2...someone else should chime in if they know about this. :icon_scratch:

Very nice first piece of silver for sure! Congrats!! :occasion18:
