CONGRATS ON YOUR BEAUTIFUL PEACE DOLLAR! My first silver coin came after a year of detecting and mine also was a Peace Dollar, which happens to be my fave coin. Mine is a 1923 and was a surface find on a bumpy old field. The Peace Dollars were made only for 8 years. Your finding the wheats & Buffalo nickel also in such a short hunt shows that you'll probably find a lot more great stuff in that area. HAVE FUN! Andi

p.s. -- There was a gap of a few years in the middle when the Peace Dollars weren't made, but total of years actually made was only eight years. Yours may be from the final year minted, but I'm not sure -- a little research will tell you. Andi
