Was supposed to hunt a house built in 1850 today that ran along a canal that had been used since the early 1800s. When I turned on my at pro the VDI jump and erratic chatter sounded like I have heard with invisible dog fence. Checked with the owner and there wasn't one. Tried to GB but even up at 99 it was jumping the VDI all over the place. Went to the next property over ( it was over 100 yards which rules out wireless router) and it was just as bad and jumpy. I was bummed out I say the least and left.
Anyways, I was relieved that once I got to a park the chatter was gone so I know it wasn't my machine. Found these two dimes under an evergreen tree. Moved in to a yard and found my first silver half. Gouged it a little bit which I never do and kinda is a bummer. ( it's by the sun on the obverse) So all in all not a bad day. The walking liberty was about 5-6 inches down, found with my 5x8 coil and rang in at 91 if I remember.
