First silver in a Coinstar including a Merc!

Been checking Coinstars in my grocery store for the past couple weeks. Usually nothing at all. Today, I noticed a handful of coins in the reject bin and grabbed them. Got home and realized I had four silver dimes including a 1941 Merc. Also a 10 cent Barbados coin. Fun stuff.

I managed my second silver dime from the coinstar last Friday. 1946 philly. It wasn't in the reject bin. It was stacked neatly up on the ledge in the right hand corner with a $5 hong kong coin and a plastic memorial cent.

I'll bet you keep on looking! Congratulations.

Just started checking the coinstar recently, always hoping there is silver.
Got a 39 wheatie 62 and 63 canadian penny and a 41 war nickle so far last 3 times i checked.

there is a very lucky machine in a nearby town, my first visit gave me a smooth shield nickel, about 2 mos ago i scooped up $1.60 in silver in dimes and Q`s all from the 40s-50s. i always check them.
