FIRST SILVER IN A WHILE

Had a really good day, lots of trash but managed some keepers from an old home site. First was an Oklahoma tax token followed by the 42 Walking Liberty. Went to the next site and found pieces of horse drawn equipment and the crank telephone bell. On the way out I eye-balled the purple marble. Fine day for me.

They always seem to be 1942.
I have a Proof and an MS 63 in my collection. Both are 42s.

Nice work, patience and persistence is rewarded. I’m stuck on a “no silver” streak myself, lots of wheaties and 40-50 year old nickels dimes and quarters....as it’s been said before it’s mostly about the location.
