I started metal detecting 7 or 8 years ago then got hooked on coin roll hunting. I got married and had a baby girl and haven't been able to pick up the detector and get out in a few years. I've been out 3 times in the past month and today I hit a little silver at a nearby elementary school. Just out shooting for coins trying to knock the rust off and forgot how unexpectedly you can experience the excitement of unearthing something shiny. The earring I found first, the pendant about 50 min later. Also took home some clad and some trash of course. I am hoping I will have a lot more to show in the coming months.
HH!
P.s the dolphin earring clasp definitely says 925 but it looks so black on the belly, almost rusted. It's very thin and light anyway, but is that really silver? Pendant is 2.57g.
