First Silver of 2021

We out between shower Sunday, i dug my first silver of 2021. I thought i found a Trime or Half Dime. and when i cleaned it off it did read Sterling. Looks like it might be a back to a ladies wrist watch or Silver Locket. But anyway it is Silver. Only got to hunt about two hours before being rained out.

Nice find! I wish we could get some rain here, I went out yesterday and it was hot, dry and tough digging! I’m no fan of hard packed dirt digging....but don’t like to hunt in the rain either. Maybe your next hunt will turn up more silver in the damp ground. Happy hunting!

Dug in that same field last weekend, and i swear i needed a jack hammer to get in the ground, we were needed rains also.. but it did rain last week and ground was a whole like better to dig in. i am not complaining we needed, will try again next weekend. Thanks
